In July 2010 1 thousand of the post offices in the cities and villages of three pilot regions, such as  Krasnodarsky Krai, Tverskoy and Yaroslavsky regions, started selling mobile phones. There are two models of economy class mobile phones offered to the Russian Post clients: Motorola WX180 .and Samsung E1080 and several other models. Along with the phones there are also subscription contracts and payment cards of the major Russian mobile operators available. 

Stage by stage implementation of the project through the whole Russian Post network is scheduled to the second half of 2010. Each month 10-15 regions will join the project. Till the end of 2010 several models of cell phones will be available at each Russian Post office within the cell networks (about 30 thousand) sound coverage area.
